A sample of our work enjoyed in museums or online today:

The Royal Collections Trust
What:
Since 2013 we have created full colour interactive games for Buckingham Palace's Family Pavilion.  :
  • Interpret and bring to life the role, history and architecture of Buckingham Palace
  • Enable families to engage with the role of monarchy and Buckingham Palace within a challenging, educational and fun activity based game.
  • Enable families to enjoy themselves and reflect on what they’ve seen.
How:
In four weeks we r
esearched and designed two fully interactive games and spinners for children and their families to enjoy.

Helen created characters and illustrations for each of the landmarks on the Queen's journey. We watched families enjoy the games- the spinners were a hit!

The procession game can still be played in the Mews. We are pleased to say we have completed a table mounted game for Buckingham Palace Learning Room.

The National Maritime Museum
What:
Research and create resources for the online teacher toolkit Stories from the Sea - a partnership between the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich, and Time and Tide Museum in Great Yarmouth. It supports the development of children’s writing, exploring local and national maritime past through world-class museum collections, intriguing stories and unforgettable characters.

How :
  • Consult with collections teams, primary teachers and children and trial activities in the classroom
  • Collate and refine existing resources, activities & ideas
  • Draft an initial set of ideas and activities for teachers focusing on online collections of objects, paintings and manuscripts from the NMM and Time and Tide collections and the theme of Pirates.
  • Drawing up a comprehensive book list relating to using Museums to inspire writing and the theme of pirates
